Hi I have installed RTnet (0.9.5 tarball) over RTAI-3.3.on a PC with two onboard ethernet adapters. I plan to use one for RTnet UDP(eth1) and the other for non-realtime tcp. The problem is Rtnet start does not start rteth1 (usual ioctl errors that others in the mailing list have seen earlier). There are no files under /proc/rtnet/rtcfg. Is it true that the interface needs to be connected to another RTnet server/client to test RTnet? or could it be a configuration problem.
