Likely because the TDMA subsystem ran out of buffers while the rt_e1000 consumes them but doesn't transmit yet. > The client can connect with the server, but rtping and everything else isn't > possible. > What can I do? There has been reports that it takes about 2 s after "rtifconfig up" to get any packet out. The TDMA master starts its cycles earlier and may run out of memory therefore. Try putting an explicit "sleep 3" (to play safe) in the rtnet start script and check again. Unfortunately, I still have no hardware access to test this issue, find the reason and resolve it or install a workaround. Jan
