Well, those who are running full networks did not publish their test
results (or I'm not aware of them). One example for a micro-benchmark I
know from the heart:

http://linuxdevices.com/articles/AT7365224759.html

Here is a recent example for a German publication, sadly with a
systematic mistake (uses Linux gettimeofday instead of RT-safe services
for time stamping):

One standard test that already comes with RTnet is under
examples/xenomai/posix/rtt-*. Another one used to be what is now only in
SVN under examples/broken/event/: An extension of rtt that measures the
clock synchronisation accuracy based on a hardware signal that was
distributed to all nodes' parallel ports.

Further resources that might be useful for benchmarks:
 - RTcap (real-time capturing add-on for RTnet to check packet timing)
 - /proc/xenomai/stat (average load of RT tasks and IRQs)
(kernel function tracer, can help to explore worst-case code paths)

Specifically as the tool situation improved recently, there is enough
food for anyone eager to benchmark various aspects of latest RTnet.

Jan
