Almost: http://www.rts.uni-hannover.de/lire/, a Live CD for our robotics
middleware, supports RTnet, but that feature was disabled for this
particular build.

I'm not claiming that rebuilding the CD from scratch (using the sources
that are included in its data partition) will be trivial, but it is
surely not impossible. You could then preconfigure one image for slave
mode and another for master mode, or start the master manually providing
the list of expected slaves.
