RTnet as well as Xenomai is known to work fine on various embedded
platforms like PPC, ARM, or x86. This includes uCLinux. Minor build
quirks can always pop up, but are generally quickly resolved if you post
them on the related lists.

Regarding FPGA: someone once asked for it and was considering to
synthesise an RTnet TDMA slave, but no further details are known.
However, if you have a 802.11<x> adapter in FPGA already ("soft MAC"
would suffice), adding RTnet protocols, specifically basic TDMA,
shouldn't be the trickier part.
