All,

I have an Intel PRO/1000 82572GI PCI-Express which I try to use with
MSI enabled. When the rt_e1000 driver is loaded, the kernel oopses in
90% of the attempts. Has anyone managed to get such a configuration to
work? The driver works without complaints when MSIs disabled, but as
the onboard NIC shares its IRQ with the PCIe (1x) slot, I need MSI to
avoid shared (hard-) IRQs.

My setup: 2.6.25.10, latest RTAI (magma), RTnet 0.9.10

Any hint appreciated!

Best::Bernhard
