You run RTmac/TDMA with a period of 5000 us and a single RT slot per
cycle? In that case you can expect packets being sent out only every
5000 us, and if the sender is not synchronized with the TDMA cycle, you
get these distribution of delays. You likely want to reduce the cycle to
2.5 ms or provide a second, joined RT transmission slot at the middle of
the 5 ms cycle to fulfill your 5 ms timing requirements.
