Hello,

I am using Rtnet 0.9.10 with Xenomai-2.4.7. I used the frag-ip.c to send udp
packets to network. I measured the time distance
between the packets by using wireshark. The cycle is set to 2ms. Packet size
25 byte. (The printf in frag-ip.c was removed)

The following network measurement shows that in most cases the time is
really 2ms. But in some cases 1.8ms or 2.1 ms.

Is this normal? And could I improve this?

Time difference to previous packet in seconds:
   0.002001 0.002002 0.002132 0.001861 0.002000 0.002000 0.002001 0.001999
0.002001 0.001999 0.002001 0.001999 0.002000 0.002002 0.001999 0.001999
0.002001 0.001999 0.002001

Thanks and regards,
Jens
