Just two random thoughts:
- Can you see any other RTnet modules in that directory?
Yes, there are some modules in that directory.
- Have you configured RTnet to actually build the via-rhine driver?
May be I missed the second point, but how can I configured RTnet to build the
via-rhine driver?

P.S. Don't forget to disable via-rhine support in your kernel or at least
unload the module before trying to load the rt variant.
