First, please install up-to-date versions. It is pointless to search for
problems in outdated releases when starting from scratch anyway.

System "freezes" often point to IRQ conflicts between RT and non-RT
domain. Check the IRQ assignment for your system: Does any Linux device
compete with the IRQ used by the RT-NIC?
