Ah, ok. Then check - if your non-RT adapter has the expected ethX name (ifconfig -a) - if that NIC is up and receives/sends packets (again, see ifconfig) - if no tx or rx progress is visible, check whether the NIC generates IRQs (see /proc/interrupts) Jan
