I do not think the new versions will be of help. They are mostly the same in principle, just allow looping server/client on more messages, adding a round trip measure also. I've profited of the new rtnet-0.9.12 release to check it against rtai 3.8 and rtai CVSes, from 2.6.29 to 2.6.32, I saw no problem. I just lost a bit of time because there was no udp support module need in the previous releases, while now there is one to insmod explicitely.
