hi everyone,

im already using rtai 3.7 with rtnet 0.9.11 and ubuntu 9.04 on my old pc(using
onboard via_rhine) and it works fine. But i got now a new one and wanted to
install the same. so its again rtai 3.7 with ubuntu 9.04 and rtnet 0.9.11 and
installation worked without problems. But because the new pc has a ethernet
onboard with intel e1000e which is afaik not supported by rtnet i use a pci
ethernetcontroller with a realteak 8139 chip. my problem now is this:

insmod /usr/local/rtnet/modules/rt_8139too.ko
r...@rtai:/usr/local/rtnet/sbin# ./rtifconfig rtlo up 127.0.0.1
r...@rtai:/usr/local/rtnet/sbin# ./rtifconfig rteth0 up 192.168.0.2
//when i do this my mouse(usb) is getting slow (lagging)
r...@rtai:/usr/local/rtnet/sbin# ./rtroute solicit 192.168.0.1 dev rteth0
r...@rtai:/usr/local/rtnet/sbin# ./rtping 192.168.0.1
Real-time PING 192.168.0.1 56(84) bytes of data.
ioctl: No route to host

so can somebody help me to solve this problem?

Best regards,

Juergen
