Hello all,

I am trying to communicate two NICs between Xenomai server and Ubuntu
Linux. Xenomai is using Intel Pro card (rteth0) and the normal linux uses
nVidia card. I am using a switch device device between this two PCs.

I did the following steps. But could not able to ping the IP address.

#rtifconfig rteth0 up 192.168.1.100 //set the IP for rteth0

#rtroute add 192.168.0.8 dev rteth0 //assigned the destination IP address
(linux IP) to rteth0

The rtifconfig ensures that the IP 192.168.1.100 assigned to rteth0.

Now I am trying to rtping 192.168.1.100. But getting 100% packet loss failure.
Before I communicate the normal Linux, even I could not able to the IP assigned
on the rtnet side.

I am not confident with the above steps. Provide me the proper steps to
communicate real time and non-real time NIC.

Thanks in Adv,

Prakash.
