Hello, I am using ICOP make vortex86DX PC104 as the Real time Hardware for controlling the Servo System. I have patched rtai-3.8 on linux kernel-2.6.23. I wanted to use the ethernet network adapter i.e. RDC r6040 available on the card as a hard realtime communication interface with other system.
As RTnet 0.9.12 doesn't support for the RDC r6040 network adapter I would like to know how I must proceed so as to use the said network adapter as in Hard realtime. I am new to the RTnet mailing list how I have not made any mistakes in discussing the problem.
