The rt_r8169 is apparently not picking up the hardware you want it to
use. You can check which driver is assigned to which PCI device using
"lspci -k". Check if the PCI-ID of the NIC you want to use is actually
supported by rt_r8169. And consider to update to 0.9.13. It came with
many updates for that driver.
