Sign me up for the Ruby on Rails if I'm not already (bit of confusion there). I've done a Perl beginners course on top of teaching myself Perl which has resulted in a script developed for work at the Wellcome Trust's Sanger Institute in the UK so I have a decent understanding of the basics of programming. I'm new to Ruby but I've had a go at Java, Perl and a quick look on Ruby. I'm looking to progress into a more programming bioinformatics career and thought this would be a great place to learn Ruby.
