Hi All -
I'm late to the party, as usual, but I found the class through a
link on Arun Gupta's Glassfish blog. I am a Technical Manager at Sun (a
fancy title which means I schedule work for a team of Professional
Services consultants). I have been working in IT since '81, and started
my career as a mainframe programmer way back when. I always enjoyed
programming, and learning new languages. I have a few books that I have
started looking through (the "pickaxe book", AWDWR, and Rails Recipes)
but I also am looking for a little more structured path to learning to
use Ruby and Rails. I actually have some ideas for an app our group
needs, so I may ask for suggestions/help along the way.
