It seems that you can participate to the group as your message went
through.

If you are subscribed with your yahoo email address and have sent your
homeworks with it, that's OK.
If you are subscribed with your gmail address and have sent your
homeworks with the yahoo email address, it would be better to resend
the homeworks with the gmail address to facilitate the mapping between
you and your homeworks.
