Hello, ruby-sig folks:

Today minitest 5.25.0 is released.

I tried rebuilding all rubygem-foo packages, and it seems
this breaks:

* rubygem-puma
* rubygem-actionpack
* rubygem-actionview
* rubygem-activesupport
* rubygem-railties

All these seems due to:
https://github.com/minitest/minitest/commit/8cd3b1c749c778038ead3ddf7894dc19c1fe4797
and this issue is reported below at the moment:
https://github.com/minitest/minitest/issues/1007

For now I am going to stay this new minitest unpushed to rawhide/F41.

Regards,
Mamoru

Now I've pushed minitest 5.25.1 to rawhide/f41.

https://github.com/minitest/minitest/issues/1007 is "partially" modified and
rubygem-rails related packages are now buildable with minitest 5.25.1.

Thx for the heads up 👍

rubygem-puma is still affected "partially", some ruby "require" file and
Minitest scope needs fixing, however anyway puma is already FTBFS
due to other reason (mainly due to cert file expiration), so
now I leave it to rubygem-puma maintainer to fix FTBFS.

Hm, Puma is a mess :/ The test suite is so flaky that it is hard to notice expired certificates. Last successful build in Koschei was on 2024-06-30, so not that long ago. But anyway, I'll take a look sooner or later.

Vít

Mamoru
