Now I've merged f44-build-side-125767 side tag into f44 main, ruby 4.0
is now available on
f44 buildroot.
For dnf5 and libyui, rebuild failed against g++16. For now I forcibly
rebuilt these 2 packages
using g++15 (using side-tag and once tagging old gcc with such
side-tag), then merged into
f44 buildroot.
vim still needs to be rebuilt for ruby4.0, I will wait for response
from the maintainer.
Now let's try ruby 4.0 on F44. Again thank you, especially to Jarek
and Vít for
work for ruby4.0.
Hi,
The 2 packages are built against the new libruby if I understand
correctly, great.
I took the liberty to change the Change bug to ON_QA
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2418384
since the side-tag was merged & the last few packages were also rebuilt
against the new libruby.
Thank you for your efforts and the regular updates, greatly appreciated.
