Gente, en la empresa donde trabajo, Travelocity (www.travelocity.com),
estamos buscando gente para trabajar en la interfaz grafica de un proyecto
muy grande que estamos armando. Para quienes no conozcan travelocity,
pertenece al grupo Sabre y se dedica a la venta de paquetes, aereos,
hoteles, etc. por internet y se usa muchisimo en el exterior. Si entran,
serian parte de Sabre y podrian en el futuro cercano moverse a otras
empresas dentro del mismo grupo, y las posibilidades de crecimiento son
inmensas.
Por unas decisiones, ajenas a mi persona :P se termino eligiendo grails,
asi que la oferta seria para programar en groovy usando el framework
grails, que si bien son parecidos a rails y lo copian bastante, seria bueno
tener algunos conocimientos de java.
Hace falta hablar ingles, no con un nivel excelente, pero lo suficiente
como para poder charlar mas o menos bien. Y si van a postularse, no se
olviden de avisarme, asi los recomiendo y entran como referidos mios.
En cuanto a la empresa, tiene muchos beneficios, mas aya de los clasicos
beneficios, ofrece otras cosas gratuitas como seguro de vida, las fiestas
en vez de ser una fiesta de fin de año es un viaje a alguna parte con toda
la empresa, posibilidad de viajar (no se olviden de comentar si tienen
pasaporte/visa), training continuo (en ingles :P), etc.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, develops, codes, tests and

Minimum Job Requirements:
· HTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript
· Familiarity with Java
· Minimum of three years experience essential.
· Experience in dynamic languages like python, ruby, smalltalk
and/or groovy.
· Being capable of working in a big team.
Desirable Job Requirements:
· Experience with rails, django and/or grails is highly desirable
· Experience with J2EE.
· Experience with spring.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
· Build web interfaces from pre-designed image mockups
· Develop accessible, standards-compliant web pages
· Review image mockups with UI designers to resolve potential
coding issues before hand-off
· Keep current with trends in front-end browser technology
