I'd really, really like to push out a > release or release candidate. I would then opt for a Release Candidate. Before the release I would like to get rid of the patched ruby-debug gem. Apart from that I think we should tidy up the log messages and the documentation before a release. I also expect problems with the new launch configuration since I can remember a lot of problems with different platforms and configurations in the past.
So, doing a release candidate would be fine, you can follow the documentation at http://www.pluginbuilder.org/Release-bu.17.0.html.
