Glad to hear it. This has been invaluable to me as well -- this is admittedly an "enterprisy" sort of need. Is there any interest in having this feature integrated into the gem command? Or otherwise cleaned up for inclusion into the gem package? I would be happy to do so if there was a reasonable chance it would be integrated into the standard package. In case the context was lost -- I am referring to a script/command that will take an existing source gem with a binary extension and build a platform specific binary gem.
