It seems less than useful for a package search tool. For example, if you searched for microscope you might want to find rscope if its summary said "library allowing you to control your microscope with ruby".
Am I missing something? How do I make my gems queryable by keywords in their summary? I'm about to add gems to my project that have names like projectname+keyword+keyword2, with no contents, that depend solely on projectname... but that seems lame, so any better suggestions?
