I submitted a patch here to clean up the new HTML error pages that were committed to trunk in [5279]
http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/6379 It cleans up the html/css in the new 404.html and 500.html Should take 10 seconds to apply if anybody wants to get it in for v1.2.
