the 2.0 release is still a way off, however a 1.2.4 stable release could be made soon. Hopefully we'll be able to publish a 'todo' list of sorts in the coming weeks, outlining the functionality that we think is still missing from edge rails. Then based on that, and community feedback, we should have a better feel for the arrival of 2.0.
