The manuals site is back up again. The machine had run out of space due to log rotation not being set up. So yes, we need a volunteer systems administrator that can help setup things how they're supposed to be and monitor them. We had one a while back, but he left and haven't been able to replace him since. Consider this a call for action. People are always asking how they can help Rails in other ways than supplying patches.
