I would prefer it to follow the layout of all the other controllers.
For example if you tell someone to "go into the blogs controller" they
will look for a file called "blogs_controller" in the app/controllers
directory instinctively. If you tell someone to "look for the
application controller", they'll instinctively look for
application_controller.rb, and then realise it's actually
application.rb.

So what if a few thousand websites have to rename ONE file. It's no
worse than the changes within files Rails 2.0 caused (i.e. routing &
session)
