In a different box:

rm -rf ~/.gem

gem --version
> 1.1.1

sudo gem install activerecord-oracle-adapter --source 
http://gems.rubyonrails.org
> ERROR: could not find activerecord-oracle-adapter locally or in a repository

What gives?
