Hello, Looking at issues like #13004 <https://github.com/rails/rails/pull/13004>or #11900 <https://github.com/rails/rails/pull/11900>, we should definitely provide a way for engines (and therefore applications) to add new extensions and patterns handled by rake notes. I would love to send a patch to add such feature but I would love to have your thoughts about the way the engine could accomplish this.
