I just came across this StackOverflow Question about reloading of middleware in development<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20874222/reloading-rails-middleware-without-restarting-the-server-in-development/21323432> and I was asking myself if there is really no default way in Rails to achieve this.
I think that Rails actually was able to reload code in development, but I'm not 100% sure on that...
