I've seen other people in forums with this problem so I thought I'd just 
mention what the main problem was.  I had a space character in my 
install path, so when I ran the initial configuration script, it didn't 
write the right paths to installation files.  Problem solved.  Make sure 
the path to instant rails doesn't have a space.
