I am using monit to monitor my mongrel processes. It is tedious to have to write the monitc to watch, say, 20 instances, so I wrote a script to do generate monitrc. Now I want to modify the generator futther to look at the mongrel_cluster.yml config to find information like number of mongrel processes, pid file location, etc. This seems like something anyone running mongrel cluster and monitrc would need, does it already exist and I'm missing it? If not, I can post what I have after I'm done.
