Kyle, There's a lot of valid answers to your questions. I suppose an important question to ask you is... * Are you familiar and comfortable with managing a *nix server (Linux, BSD, etc..)? If so, then looking at one of the VPS-based solutions might be a good approach. Another VPS-option to throw into the mix would be our Rails Boxcar, which is a pre-configured solution.
