Hi again

Fixed it! The problem is Joomla and the template done by the designer
which includes all kind of JS libs, most notably the mootools. For IE
the loading sequence seems to matter a lot. After removing libs not
used on the homepage and sorting the remaining ones, IE now does the
trick as well.
