I've never used qForms, but a quick look at the features tells me that you could probably do most of this using Prototype and Scriptaculous with only a little more effort. Although it really depends on which of the qForms features you need.
I suggest you try using Prototype and Scriptaculous to do what you need before you add a new library into the mix, It keeps things clean and simple. Plus it seems that qForms is *really old*  (the discussion board dates back to 2001!).
But if you're really adamant, post an example of what you are trying to do, and we'll try to help.
