Hey Roscoe,

What I see there *event in FF (1.5.0.7)* is a SlideDown effect, not a
BlindDown effect (the contents doesn't scroll down, as blinds would; it
just appears from top to bottom).

Just in case, check out the wiki's recommendation that for Slide
effects, you need an extra wrapper div inside your effect-related div
for it to work:
