I'm using the "Prototype JavaScript framework, version 1.5.0_rc1" and when I add the json.js script (http://www.json.org/js.html) to the document, I get an "Too much recursion" error. Is this version of prototype making some incompatibilities with json.js? Have prototype built in methods for working with json (array 2 json, object 2 json, etc)?
