I'm using IE7 in Windows XP Pro. SP2 with a custom security level (I've messed with it trying to solve the "Access is denied." problem). I'm using one firewall (ZoneAlarm) and I'm behind a NAT. As for native XHR, I think it is because I can do such things as this: var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest(); xhr.foo = 123; alert(xhr.foo); Anything else you wish to know?
