There is no list, because it's said in one sentence: ;)
Prototype supports IE 6 and IE7, Firefox, and Safari 1.2+.

Other browsers may work too (like Opera 9). We welcome patches to  
accomodate browsers that need workarounds.

and has the same target browsers:
