Sorry guys. This is my first post to this group.
Welcome to the list. However, a few additional points:* Don't YELL. It's really disturbing and makes me feel you think your questions are more important than others'. * This list is for questions related to Rails spinoffs, mainly script.aculo.us and prototype JS libraries. Your question, however, is related to Rails itself and should thus be sent to the general Rails mailing list (http://groups.google.com/group/rubyonrails-talk).
That said...How do you know the first if statement is skipped? The next one overwrites the flash messages in all cases so it doesn't matter what you did in the first block.

My subject of the question is inside my code in the pastie. I understand that I should be more specific to what I need help with. Bill, that was a good link to send me too! Thanks. Here is the code I need help with: http://pastie.caboo.se/58307 My problem is I have a custom save message throughout my app. My client needs the message to be different for one save in the app. If you click on the pastie you will see in the code where I'm having problems. I know this is probably something stupid... but I am new to this. Thanks for any help you guys can provide!
