No offence because you're actually doing something rather than just talking
about it, but a wiki is definitely not the way to go with this. Just look at
scriptaculous's wiki. It's out of date and hard to find what you're looking for.
I'd much rather see something like the JSAN project done for Prototype
(http://openjsan.org/).

Each group or developer could upload their addon's distribution which contains
the source code, documentation, tests and examples which would all be
browesable. Distributions could also provide dependencies. Maybe there's some
way to team up with the jsan folks to create a prototype specific version to
reduce duplicate effort.
