Hello, I have not a question about the ruby on rails and scriptaculous but just about the latter.
Have a look at this url: http://www.adobati.it/viastresa I had build a mash-up using some google API (Maps and AJAX Feed API), scriptaculous and the Google Spreadsheet. In the table on the right i display a list of some places where me and my co-worker could have a lunch during the midday break. So, just under the map, to the left, there are some check boxes that let the users able to decide what to view both to the map and to the list. It works nice in exception that when the rows disappear they still also loose some CSS properties and the properties are also losed by other rows... I think if you could have a look to the mash-up the problem will jump to your eyes better then I can describe it! PS: Please use FIREFOX I haven't yet fixed some problems with IE, so with the Microsoft solution you could not able to view the list (I'll fix it faster then I can understand what the problem is...)
