Hey all, I just wanted to see if any of you could possibly provide
some insight into a problem that I'm having.

I'm currently working on a mockup of a future site, and am using
scriptaculous to provide a sliding effect. I'm using the Effect.Move
function. Here's the run down.

I've got three columns on my page that are side by side. When a
visitor clicks on one of those columns, I'd like it to slide some
underlying content out. To show you what I'm talking about - you can
check out http://www.cdevtechnologies.com/cdev-concept/site/index6.html.
When you click on one of those columns, the effect seems to happen
pretty smoothly, and I'm happy with it. The problem that I'm running
into, is that I want those columns to have background images. When I
add those background images, the effect becomes pretty choppy and I'm
no longer happy with it :-)

Have any of you come across this problem before? Do you have any
insight about it, or where I might start thinking about trying to fix
this? Any, and all, help is HIGHLY appreciated.

Thanks,
Conrad
