I'm relatively new to RoR. I'm using InstantRails2.0 on WinXP. My app was working fine, until I started trying to get RMagick to work. During that process I updated rubygem. At that point, mongrel was still starting but there was a problem with RMagick. I never got an answer on that, so I started trying fleximage. I'm not using git so I manually installed fleximage according to its instructions. Now mongrel won't start, with this error:
C:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `gem_original_require': no such file to load -- C:/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/ 1.8/gems/mongrel-1.1.2-x86-mswin32/lib/mongrel/init.rb (MissingSourceFile) I did 'gem update mongrel' and it said : Successfully installed mongrel-1.1.5-x86-mswin32-60 I noticed the version of the one installed is later than the one in the mongrel error message.
