Solved.....it is normal....:(

You have a nil object when you didn't expect it!
You might have expected an instance of Array.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.map

tickets_controller.rb
def new
    @ticket = Ticket.new
    @ticket_products= TicketProduct.find(:all, :order =>'name')  ## this 
line finds the tickets product!!!

    respond_to do |format|
      format.html # new.html.erb
      format.xml  { render :xml => @ticket }
    end
  end
