Linus, I started an application yesterday without any major issues so far. 
There's been a couple of instances where I've needed to do use a Rails4 
branch of a couple of gems I required, however there are not many major 
Rails 4 API changes (sure there's was a bunch of things extracted as gems). 
>From my understanding, Basecamp Breeze and Github Gists are both running on 
Rails 4.
