Hi everyone–

*

I’ve been working on a cool open-source project at
https://github.com/La-comadreja/ResearchMatch, that I think has a lot of
potential to connect university students to technology and science. It’s a
directory of research and projects, so the students can look for what
interests them and apply to projects at their level. We’ve built
communities at UC-Berkeley (http://researchmatch.heroku.com) and at
Columbia University in New York City (http://www.researchmat.ch). The
students and professors at these schools are very excited by it and are
using it a lot.

I’ve recently rewritten the authentication to make the code more scalable.
 I’m focused on the interface and the “Apply to Project” feature at
present, and would like to have the site launch at other schools.

Any thoughts or questions? This is my first large Rails project, so these
would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Rebecca Sealfon
