Yes, I've used Spree before and digging through the docs as we speak. Was 
wondering if anyone would throw out something I hadn't heard of before that 
would have the auctioning piece included, but it looks like spree is pretty 
much as good as it gets for a good/stable ecommerce foundation, plus it's 
customizable. Thanks for the chat.....sometimes, it's just about hearing 
someone else say it ;-). I'll also dig into spree_auction a bit more, just 
because it's not maintained doesn't mean it's broken or unfixable.
